Isabela Dupin explains that hair transplantation is mainly indicated for cases of androgenetic alopecia (the most common form of baldness in men), in the case of a long front region (high capillary system), scalps of the scalp that prevent the growth of threads, or definitive losses due to trauma or burns.

The doctors underline that in the specific case of the hair line of the hair line (long front), a pharmacological treatment before and after hair transplantation is not necessary. “In this case the only surgical treatment is able to solve the patient’s complaint,” says Isabela.
