shrimp bobo

ingredients

  • 1/2 kg of medium shrimp
  • 1 kg of cassava, peeled and cut into cubes
  • 200 ml of coconut milk
  • 4 tablespoons of Palm oil
  • 1 chopped yellow pepper
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 3 minced garlic cloves
  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons of butter
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Method of preparation

Clean the prawns, remove the shells, wash them in running water and set aside. Put the cassava in a pan, cover with water and bring it to high heat until it becomes very soft. Drain the water and reserve the cassava. In a pan, add the oil and heat over medium heat. Then add the garlic and let it cook until golden brown. Add the prawns and cook for another 3 minutes. Reserve.

In another pan add the butter and let it melt over medium heat. Then add the onion and pepper and cook for 5 minutes. Reserve. In a blender put the boiled cassava, coconut milk, palm oil and onion and pepper, sauté and beat until creamy. Transfer the mixture to a pan, add the sautéed prawns and cook over medium heat until it boils. Season with salt and pepper and serve immediately.

Tip: serve the prawn bobó sprinkled with chopped coriander.

Shrimp cream

ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 1 cup of tomato sauce
  • 1 kg of shrimp
  • 4 tablespoons of wheat flour
  • 1 liter of milk
  • 400 g of cream cheese
  • 200 ml of sour cream
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Green pepper and grated Parmesan to sprinkle

Method of preparation

clean the Cameroon, skin removed and washed in running water. Put in a bowl and season with salt and pepper. Reserve. Then dissolve the wheat flour in the milk and set aside. In a pan add the oil and heat over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until golden brown.

Then add the tomato sauce, prawns, wheat flour dissolved in milk, salt, black pepper and curd. Stir until the mixture thickens. After, turn off the heat, add the milk cream and mix well. Transfer the mixture to a baking tray, sprinkle with Parmesan and Parmesan cheese and bake in a preheated oven at medium temperature until golden brown. Serve immediately.

  • 3 tablespoons of Ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon of mustard
  • 200 ml of sour cream

Method of preparation

Clean the prawns and remove the shells. Put in a container with water and lemon and wash well. Drain the water and set the shrimp aside. Put the butter in a pan and bring it to medium heat to heat it up. Then add the prawns and onion and cook for 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Add the cognac and let it evaporate a little. Add the mushrooms, ketchup and mustard and boil for 5 minutes. Then turn off the heat, add the cream and mix well. Serve immediately.
