In strengthening of the importance of the date, Caras announces the third edition of Caras Amazônia

Celebrated on September 5, the Amazon day marks the creation of the province of Amazonas in 1850. Over the years, the date has gained a new meaning: it has become a symbol of the struggle to preserve one of the most important biomes on the planet.




With 60% of its extension in the Brazilian territory, the largest forest in the world is essential for the global climatic balance, which houses the largest biodiversity of the earth and plays a vital role in the water cycle and in the regulation of temperatures.

Constantly threatened by deforestation, combustion, illegal extraction and the advance of economic exploitation, the Region will, in November, the center of attention of the world, with the realization of the Cop30United Nations Conference on climate change. Held in the heart of the Amazon of Belém (PA), the event will strengthen the importance of listening to those who live and protect the forest every day.

With the same spirit of commitment and commitment for the environmental agenda, Boys Today announces the third edition of the project Caras Amazoniato be held between 4 and 7 November in Mirante Do Gavião (Located in Novo Airão, Amazonas, about 180 km from 1 ‘in front of the Anavilhanas National Park).

The project will bring together personality, indigenous leaders, experts, artists and representatives of civil society to discuss sustainable paths, appreciate the Amazon culture and strengthen awareness of the conservation of forests.
