Condensed milk bread

Time: 50 minutes (+1 hour rest)

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablets of organic fresh yeast (30g)
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1/2 cup oil (tea).
  • 4 eggs
  • 5 cups wheat flour (approximately)
  • Oil and wheat flour for greasing
  • 1 egg yolk for brushing

Coverage:

  • 1/2 can of condensed milk
  • Coarsely grated coconut for sprinkling

Preparation method:

  1. In a blender, beat the yeast, condensed milk, milk, oil and eggs until smooth.
  2. Transfer it to a bowl and add the flour, little by little, until it no longer sticks to your hands.
  3. If necessary, add more flour.
  4. Divide the dough into 10 parts.
  5. Form each one into a not too thin roll and twist it.
  6. Place on a greased and floured baking tray, cover and leave to rest for 1 hour.
  7. Brush with egg yolk and bake in a preheated medium oven for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. While still hot, drizzle with condensed milk and sprinkle with grated coconut.
  9. Let it cool and serve.
