In early May, the character of Juma, played by Alanis Guillen, in the soap opera Pantanal, was brought to Rio de Janeiro by Jupiter (Jesuita Barbosa). She has already returned to the Pantanal and those who follow the telenovela have noticed that not only has the attitude of the young woman changed, because she has felt trapped, but also her style has changed a bit during her stay in the Wonderful city.

One of the looks she wore that caught the attention of the public was the long green dress, with halter neckline, tied at the neck and showing off the shoulders. Soap opera costume designer Marie Salles told on her instagram account about her idea of leaving Juma with a carioca vibe around this time.

“Let’s talk about what I know is generating emotion in everyone 🐆 Juma is back at Pantanal !!! But when she was in Rio she got a makeover and for these new dresses I wanted to keep her style: wide, low-cut, fluid dresses, only with a carioca atmosphere, “he wrote.
“And of course, it’s important to remember that Irma (Camila Morgado) bought the clothes for her, so the idea was to think about how the character would make those choices. So I decided to use her color palette 💚”, he added.
The dress is from the carioca brand Martu and the wide modeling is one of the trends of the moment. Green, despite being within the character’s color chart, is a high trend. Wide modeling also remains firm and strong, from the start of the pandemic, within the comfy trend, where comfort is key.
In another post, the costume designer explained how difficult it was to make Juma’s costume. Look down.
