Discover the Arcanum of the September Tarot and find out what message it reveals

The month will be favorable to look within and evaluate what no longer makes sense

The arcanum of the month, taken from my tarots, with the intention of bringing direction and advice to the energies of September, was the fifth arcanum: The Hierophant (The Pope or The Priest, in some tarots).

What is the arcane?

Arcane means something secret, hidden or mysterious. The Major Arcana, like the Hierophant, are used in the Tarot to represent human archetypes, their desires, ideas and learning. They are representations of important events in human life and refer to the abstract and subjective mind.

This arcane carries with it the energy of connection, of the bridge between who we are and what is highest. Even him it has a symbolism of inheritance, dogmas and conceptions, which called me to reflection.

Beware of counter-productive requests and thoughts

Often we are faced with dissatisfaction with ourselves. Sometimes these dissatisfactions become counterproductive criticisms of how we are not sufficiently qualified or how we fail to achieve the results that others do.

And honestly, from this universe of self-sabotaging thoughts, what can you actually consider to be true criticism? And to what extent could you stick with old versions of yourself?

You may experience doubts or dissatisfactions like this and feel certain difficulty connecting with you simply because the version you have in mind of yourself no longer exists!

What you once were may no longer make sense. Perhaps, at the time when you produced absurdly and performed well in everything you did, you had not yet taken on the numerous roles of today, whether in studies, in the family, in the career or in the social environment. Do you understand how much you could expect from yourself?

How to use the Hierophant’s energy

In this month of September, rely on energy of the Hierophant to reveal new possibilities and get closer to yourself, with the awareness of what you really are now, to reap the rewards of your new season. This arcane is also an appeal to transformation, to the breaking of conceptions about ourselves and about others.

Use the Hierophant archetype of wisdom to perform transformation in your journey, without confronting the outside world and without charging for results that belong to versions of you that no longer fit your reality.

Time to connect with the inner teacher

The Hierophant is the great master of the Tarot, that master who wants to reveal the way to us. It is the bridge between us and the divine, it is calm and observation. Hence, this can be a very favorable month to resume studies of self-knowledge and spiritual practices.

Open up to the new, try the possibilities that can help you in this process. Yoga, meditation, natural therapies and even the Tarot itself. The invitation for us reconnect with our “inner teacher” it is being done.

order of the month

For me, the order of this month, with this arcane, is: do not cling to the past, do not cling to concepts and standards imposed (by yourself and others). Allow yourself to find new paths in this journey which is to “recognize you” with each new season!
