SPFW: Day 4 goes from funeral black to burst of color

Day four of the 53rd edition of SPFW brought celebrities such as former BBBs Pedro Scooby and Camilla de Lucas back to the runway, as well as Carol Marra, transvestite Bianca Dellafancy and countless other models who increasingly bring diversity to the runways. It is already common and this news is fantastic, a totally black casting, like the João Pimenta show.

The designer, who performed at Senac Lapa Faustolo, a school of which he is a consultant, created a collection with all the black looks, like a funeral procession. In the invitation he asked guests to wear black, advice taken seriously by most of those present. To close the trilogy on the anguish of isolation and the pandemic, the designer and teacher decided to work with color in clothes, referring to mourning, which is still a manifesto against the current political moment in the country.

But if the show had a heavy tone, the beauty of the looks worn by the male models blew an air of relief, with the experience that Pimenta has in the construction, modeling and finishing of the pieces. Pieces that still wore lace, sparkles, applications that open the space to a certain lightness in the midst of chaos. In the exit of the show, the designer has included poetry “The flower and the nausea”, by Carlos Drummond de Andrade, in which one of the verses is found “Can I, without weapons, rebel?”. The answer to that question was given in the beautiful and strong fashion show of the always impeccable Pimenta.

First, the Silvério brand opened the in-person presentations of the SPFW day with the theme Delirium, also in reference to the pandemic. The black color was present, as in the suit worn by Pedro Scooby, shirtless, showing the tattoo on his chest, and shorter pants with a flared hem. The designer, on the other hand, mixed strong colors, such as pink, yellow, orange and blue.

The Martins brand also brought colors into its presentation in person, such as dresses with clouds on a blue background, prints in yellow and other shades.

Night

In the evening the shows, at Komplexo Tempo, East Zone of Sao Paulo, 13 km from Senac Faustolo, Lino Villaventura and Walério Araújo exploded in color, without neglecting a little black and white.

Lino Villaventura, always with a dramatic tone, presented his powerful looks, such as the opening, runway for Vivi Orth, with a wide skirt, neckline on the back and pleated collar with fire print. The print, among other things, appeared in different looks, including men’s ones, and also in leggings and boots. These last two pieces made up the white dress with ribs, train and movement used by Camilla de Lucas, as a different bride.

To close the SPFW evening, Walério Araújo always throws a party. This time around it was no different, with its multicolored looks, full of feathers, sparkles and head ornaments, the stylist retraced his history, with some original pieces, such as the yellow dress with beaded fringes and beaded beads. worn by Rita Cadillac in the film “Carandiru”.

Walério was inspired by the fashion fairs of the 90s, where new designers, now veterans and famous, like him, started their careers. In the soundtrack, Alexandre Herchcovitch and Johnny Luxo were the DJs of this party, prominent figures also of the night of that decade.
