On the 8th, the ceremony to reveal the winners of the VEJA SP Award for the best CASACOR environment was held. The event, full of emotions, took place on the occasion of a cocktail party at the Bar Caracol of CASACOR, with 59 environments created by 68 architects, decorators and landscape architects, who competed in nine categories, such as Best Studio and Best Loft or House.

To select them – not an easy task -, a team of nine judges, composed among others by Alexandre Sales, partner-owner of Estúdio Tarimba and coordinator of the European Institute of Design, Regina Galvão, journalist of architecture and design the highlights of the 35th edition of this iconic show that, for the first time, occupied the mezzanine of the Conjunto Nacional building, right on Avenida Paulista.

For Livia Pedreira, president of the curatorial council of CASACOR, the event was a moment to celebrate the work developed with the collaboration of many hands. “It involves participation not only by architects, designers and landscape architects, but also by suppliers from industry and retail. In connection, this team brings together all purposes to connect with the consumer and inspire a new way of life,” he says. she. account.

“Our participation in CASACOR combines innovation and technology, with novelties that become true works of art”, reveals Sonah Lee, marketing director of LG, one of the companies promoting the award.

In turn, Flávia Telles Schmidt, marketing general manager of Tegra, a developer who also sponsored the event, expresses the importance of supporting both new talent and renowned architects. “Art, design, architecture and landscaping have everything to do with our business. And CASACOR has the same care and attention for details that we follow in our projects”, says the manager, explaining the synergy between the exhibition and the company. . .

The challenge of integrating bedroom, living room and kitchen in the same space was masterfully won by the architect, who made his debut at CASACOR. “It is a great pride to be recognized in this award, already in my first participation in CASACOR, competing with many experienced colleagues,” said Barbara, after receiving the award.
