8. Choose a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol, avoiding oils, fried foods, butter, lard, pork, chicken skin, yellow cheeses and whole milk, to reduce the risk of heart disease. Fats provide more than double the calories than other foods. A low-fat diet will help you maintain a healthy weight.

9. Use sugar in moderation. A diet high in sugar and sweets provides too many calories, too few nutrients, and can contribute to tooth decay, weight gain, and other diseases.

10. Use salt in moderation to reduce the risks of high pressure and net retention.

11. Sunbathe at the appropriate time, before 10am and after 4pm. The sun activates vitamin D in our body, favoring the fixation of calcium, a nutrient that strengthens bones and stimulates growth. It also prevents osteoporosis, which makes bones weak, porous and brittle.
