Da Mooca Pizza Shop will sell pizza pieces from exceptional chefs and pizzerias in São Paulo
To celebrate its five years of life, the Pizzeria Da Mooca, by chef Fellipe Zanuto, is preparing a period of festivities. The house brought together Paul Cho, of Paul’s Boutique; Fábio Donato, of Castelões; Erik Momo, from 1900; André Guidon, of Leggera; and Carlos Zoppetti, of the Instituto ConPizza and each created a filling of Pizza different.

“I joined this group because each one represents a moment of pizza in São Paulo. The story begins with the pizza of Castelões, one of the most traditional in São Paulo. Then comes the pizza of 1900, which revolutionized the pizza market. pizza in Then comes Carlos, who is a bit of the ‘glue’ of all this: after all we all go to the institute to discuss the subject, test ideas, etc. Then André arrives with the real Neapolitan pizza, which has become a dear and, finally, Paul, the youngest of the group and who brought the concept of American pizza and, of course, the Da Mooca pizza that made Roman pizza popular, “says Fellipe.
Between September 15th and October 4th, pizza lovers will be able to try the specialties of each house, for R $ 10 per piece.
At Castelões, the proposed recipe will be the classic Castelões: the sausage is prepared in the pizzeria in Fábio every week. That of 1900 is the Fiorentina, a recipe from Erik’s mother that brings tomato sauce, cooked ham, provolone, onion, tomato, plus a little tomato sauce on top and oregano.
Instituto ConPizza has created a version based on pesto, creamy buffalo mozzarella, confit tomato and pancetta; it follows that of Leggera: the Cosacca pizza, is one of the oldest pizzas in Naples – it precedes the margherita – and it takes tomato, pecorino romano and basil. And at Paul’s Boutique with vodka sauce (typical of New York) – sour cream, tomato sauce, garlic and pepper -, fior de latte and mozzarella. “It is an opportunity that people will have to try 5 classic and famous SP pizzas in one place. I want everyone to have access,” comments Fellipe.
