Coffee Festival, in Sao Paulo, will have exclusive menus and promotions


In all, 30 businesses in the center of the region participate in the event, almost double compared to the first edition.

If you are passionate about coffee, mark your calendar now: the City of Sao Paulo, through the Municipal Tourist Office, promotes the 3rd Coffee Festival in Triângulo SP between 27 September and 1 October, when International Coffee Day is celebrated.

Since its first edition, in 2019, the event takes place in Triângulo SP, a special section of the Center where SMTUR aims to develop strategic actions to promote tourism. The current edition brings almost double the number of participating cafes, from 18 to 30.

“OR Coffee party it is an initiative of the Municipality itself that promotes the Center of the city of São Paulo through its historical tradition, celebrating the establishments of the region, from the youngest to those that send us back to the beginning of the coffee activity in the city. They are places that attract thousands of people who work or visit the various tourist attractions of the region on a daily basis “, says in a note the municipal secretary for tourism, Rodolfo Marinho, the characteristics and its history, told through unique experiences”.

Each participating facility was invited to prepare a promotional combo or offer discounts on menu items, which will be sold on the premises of the venue itself.

In the program, the public will be able to check from coffee chains such as Starbucks, Cacau Show and Café Latte to spaces that exist only in the Center such as Café Martinelli, Badaró Art Caffé, Casa Godinho, Espaço Priceless, Café Girondino, the oldest in São Paulo in activities and many more.

Workshops and meetings to talk about coffee

The duo Clayton Melo and Denize Bacoccina, of the Associação Viva o Centro, will open the program of workshops and meetings on the 28th, starting at 5 pm, are invited to speak on the theme “The recovery of the center of São Paulo: challenges and opportunities “. The idea is to briefly address the challenges raised during the pandemic and how new ideas have been put into practice in this process, including in canteens.

On Thursday 29, at 3 pm, coffee specialist Natália Camoleze, of Espresso magazine, shares a survey carried out with readers of the publication on coffee consumption habits and what this reveals in terms of trends.

On the terrace of Palazzo Martinelli the public will be invited to participate in a unique experience. On the 30th, at 2 pm, there will be an activity mediated by Café do Bira and Akan Cafés Especiais with 60 participants that promises to challenge the most demanding palates.

Creator of the Portal Coffea podcast and coffee tourism company Coffea Trips, Kelly Stein speaks at the Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil on the 30th, at 3pm. During the lesson, she will talk about her wanderings in the world of coffee, highlighting travel experiences and flavors lived in this journey.

On International Coffee Day, Saturday 1, at 3pm, the event will be closed by tourism influencer Thiago Lopez. In his travel channel on Youtube, Thiago has already explored many destinations around the world, always bringing a unique aspect to each experience. In this chat, he promises to tell the details of his forays about him and also the delicious coffees he tasted in his adventures.
