3 dulce de leche recipes you need to try

Sweet creamy milk

  • 1 liter of whole milk
  • 500 g of sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda

Method of preparation

In a large pot put the sugar, milk and heat over low heat. Stir constantly and, as soon as the milk starts to boil, add the baking soda. Keep stirring so it doesn’t stick to the bottom of the pan or turn over. When the candies start coming out of the bottom of the pan, turn off the heat. With the jam still in the pan, mix with a wooden spoon for about 2 minutes. Until it starts to cool. Remove from the pan, transfer to a saucepan and serve immediately.

Coconut milk candies

ingredients

  • 2 l of milk
  • 4 cups of sugar tea
  • 200 g of fresh grated coconut

Method of preparation

In a large saucepan put the sugar, milk and put on medium heat. Stir continuously until the milk boils and reduces. Lower the heat and stir until the candies start coming out of the pan. Then remove from the heat, add the coconut and place it on a serving dish. Wait for it to cool and then serve.

Pieces of milk candy

Pieces of milk candy

ingredients

  • 1 liter of milk
  • 750 g of sugar
  • butter for greasing

Method of preparation

In a saucepan, mix the milk with the sugar and bring to low heat, stirring occasionally, until it begins to thicken. Stir continuously until it starts to come off the bottom of the pan and get a very thick cream. Finally, pour it into a greased form of butter and, when it is lukewarm, cut the squares and let it cool. Remove the candies from the mold and serve immediately.

Tip: To check if the candies are in the right place, place a teaspoon of candies in a dish of cold water. If you get a candy that you can shape by hand, that’s fine, if it’s soft let it thicken a little more.
