6. Banana pancake
Age range: from 1 year
Ingredients:
- 1 banana
- 2 tablespoons of oat bran
- 1 egg
- A pinch of ground cinnamon (optional)
Method of preparation:
In a deep plate, mash the banana well. Then add the oat bran, egg and cinnamon. Mix well. Heat a non-stick pan – or greased with a drizzle of oil – over low heat. Pour the batter into the pan and cover. When it starts to form balls on the surface, turn the pancake upside down and finish cooking!

7. Bowl of oatmeal with fruit
Ingredients:
- 1 cup quaker rolled oats
- 1/4 cup golden flax seeds
- 2 tablespoons of unsweetened coconut flakes
- 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons of cocoa powder
- 1 + 1/4 cup of skim milk
- 1/2 cup chopped strawberries
- 2 tablespoons of toasted flaked almonds (optional)
- 1 tablespoon of cocoa nibs (optional)
Method of preparation:
In a bowl, combine the oats, flax seeds, coconut flakes, brown sugar, cocoa powder and milk. Store the mixture in the refrigerator overnight. The next morning, serve a portion in a bowl and finish with the chopped strawberries, almond flakes and cocoa nibs (optional).
