Take on challenges as opportunities and control the power of now

A neat flower arrangement has the power to bring joy and beauty to any environment. Even those who say they are not a great admirer of plants are affected by the pleasant atmosphere they give to the place where they are placed. He imagines that instead of placing a vase of flowers on a table, a bowl full of seeds or a vase with withered and dried petals has been placed. Would the same enchantment scenario still be present in the environment? The power of flowers represents the strength of the now. And it reminds us of the importance of playing all that is our role and is in our hands right now.

Keep swimming

Have you ever thought that what is possible now may become impossible in a little while or another day?

Life is movement. Think about the functioning of the cycles of nature or the human body itself, there is nothing that is static. Even a mountain is changed by the strength of now, through the wind and the rain.

When we keep ourselves in action, we respect the law of the development of life. But be wise: I’m not saying it’s to support yourself indefinitely with occupations or work non-stop. The movement I am referring to here is about progress, growth, learning.

It is therefore important to be connected to the heart to know what and how to do it at all times. Learning to enjoy moments of fun or stop and rest are also ways to progress.

enjoy the challenges

The unfavorable situations that arise are possibilities for us to extract the great potential that resides in us and express our latent capacity.

This is not about overestimating discomfort and suffering, but about training our eyes and ourselves on the vicissitudes that can occur. If the idea is to progress, which position will be more favorable in this scenario: denounce or identify an opportunity?

In this way we can face difficulties as a tool that has the function of awakening the best that is within us, in a certain sense from the inside out.

When we put this into practice and seize the opportunities, the whole world changes. It may seem like an exaggeration, but it is a matter of perspective. Taking the opportunity favors our growth and, thus, it is as if everything around us becomes “smaller” or, at least, different. It’s about our attitude and our mind shaping the outside world.

the god of opportunity

Greek mythology presents Kairos as the god of opportunity. He is represented as a bald figure at the back of his head and with a long braid on his forelock. He is a symbol of the fact that it is necessary to seize the opportunity and seize it, because once it has passed it will no longer be possible to hold it.

And even if we imagine the god of opportunity with a head full of braids, if we don’t have the initiative to grab them, we will remain stagnant. And we still run the risk of being overwhelmed with regret and guilt.

There are people who think that opportunities are things that cause changes in life, such as a job offer in a particular company or the possibility of moving to another country.

But in reality the splendor of life consists in doing what is naturally asked of you at that moment.

Enjoying a walk with children in a park is natural, it is natural to enjoy the company of friends at the bar on Saturday evening, it is natural to take a nap on Sunday afternoon, it is natural to commit to a professional task.

The human being was born to be happy and this fullness will be achieved when we connect and manifest our essence and the capacity inherent in it.

We are happy to take advantage of challenges and opportunities! Put intensity and strength into what is within your reach at all times and command the strength of now!
