There should have been a change in the script as well. Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, who wrote the antihero’s worst jokes in the first two films, first left the pen to sisters Lizzie and Wendy Molyneux, who notably worked on the animated series Bob’s Burgers and The Great North. Who will it be with?

A change of mind that is surprising and can be scary that Deadpool 3 will spoil the emotion and power of Logan (even the plot placed earlier). But we still don’t know if Wolverine will be central to the story or just a cameo. Even a Brad Pitt-style troll as the Invisible Man in the previous episode, or Hugh Jackman appearing… only in his own role. Not by mutation. Which would be very funny, at the risk of angering many fans.
The rest is much more obscure. Vanessa’s interpreter in the first two opuses, Morena Baccarin, seems pessimistic about a possible return (and this is understandable given her fate in the second). And Josh Brolin, who was Deadpool 2’s flagship recruit after all, insists he was unaware of plans for his character Cable, who may therefore remain in the future.
One of the few certainties we have so far is that TJ Miller will not be reprising his role as Weasel. Accused of sexual harassment and rape, the actor was later found guilty of making a fake bomb threat, and Ryan Reynolds announced that he would not be in the spin-off X-Force, which has since been abandoned.
Although the project has yet to be confirmed, TJ Miller has stated that he will not be returning for Deadpool 3. But we suspect that Marvel Studios didn’t necessarily claim it because Disney, who now owns the rights, is struggling with its public image. actors and directors.
What will be talked about?
Despite Wolverine’s written presence, the film’s plot is still a mystery, while this newcomer raises many questions: When will the story take place (perhaps before Logan’s story, which takes place in 2029)? In which branch of the multiverse? Will Deadpool 3 be legit in the big story of the Marvel Cinematic Universe? So many questions that we may have the first answers to when filming begins.
