Halloween is coming! And, in addition to the jokes, with it also come the best delicacies! With that in mind, we’ve separated some dessert recipes to celebrate Halloween with one icon of the day: the pumpkin. That’s right: in addition to the classic dessert with fruit, there are other wonderful pumpkin desserts.

Pumpkins are used in many ways to celebrate Halloween. They can, for example, be carved in decorative lanterns with the most varied designs. Additionally, they are commonly used in several sweet recipes in North America.

Cake with pumpkin and chocolate

Ingredients:

  • 1 packet of chocolate cornstarch cookies (200 g)
  • 5 tablespoons of margarine or melted butter

Cream:

  • 2 cups pumpkin (cooked and juiced)
  • 1/4 cup orange juice (orange juice)
  • 1 box of sour cream
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 pinch of ground cinnamon
  • 2/3 cup (tea) of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
  • Milk chocolate flakes to decorate
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence

Method of preparation:

Chop the cookies in a blender and transfer them to a bowl. Add the margarine and knead with your fingertips until the mixture is smooth. Line the bottom of a large pan with a removable bottom and set aside.

Beat the pumpkin puree, juice, cream, eggs, cinnamon, sugar, butter, corn starch and essence in a blender until smooth. Add the orange zest and mix with a spoon. Spread on the base of the cake, leveling well with a spatula.

Bake in a preheated oven for 35 minutes or until it has set. Allow to cool completely, decorate with chocolate chips, unmold and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Pumpkin cone

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 kg of diced pumpkin
  • 2 and 1/2 cups (tea) of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of cloves (cloves)
  • 20 biju cones
  • 2 cups chopped milk chocolate (chocolate)

Method of preparation:

Place the squash, sugar, and cloves in a skillet over low heat, stirring a couple of times until the squash melts and forms a mushy dessert. Turn off and let cool. Divide the cooled pumpkin jam between the biju cones. Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie and pass it on the surface of the cones. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Remove from the oven and serve.

Pumpkin Brigadeiro with coconut

Time: 10 minutes (+4 hours in the fridge)

Performance: 20 servings

Difficulty: easy

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon of coconut oil
  • 400 grams of condensed milk impostor or normal
  • 200 grams of pumpkin puree
  • 2/3 cup of grated coconut
  • carnation to decorate
  • 2/3 cup grated white chocolate

Method of preparation:

Combine all the ingredients in a non-stick pan, over low heat, stirring constantly, until it comes off the bottom of the pan.

Arrange the contents on a tray and cover with cling film to prevent the cream from forming on top. Bring it to the refrigerator and let it cool for 4 hours, then roll it up and roll it in the grated coconut. To mimic the shape of a pumpkin, use the back of a knife to gently shape the candy, drawing equidistant vertical lines. Garnish with cloves and serve!

Pumpkin Pie With Chocolate Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 kg of boiled and squeezed pumpkin
  • 2 cups (tea) of sugar
  • 1 cup (s) of grated coconut
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup (tea) of wheat flour
  • 4 tablespoons of margarine
  • 1 cup (tea) of cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder
  • Margarine and wheat flour for greasing

Roof:

  • 1/2 cup (tea) of sugar
  • 3 tablespoons of chocolate powder
  • 1 tablespoon of margarine
  • 3 tablespoons of milk

Method of preparation:

Beat the eggs, sugar and margarine in a blender for 2 minutes. Add the grated coconut, pumpkin, flour and sifted cornstarch, beating for a few more minutes. Add the yeast and mix. Grease and flour a round pan, pour the mixture and bake in a preheated medium oven for about 50 minutes. Prepare the glaze by melting all the ingredients over low heat for 5 minutes. Spread on the still hot cake and let it cool.

Pumpkin jam under pressure

Performance: 5 servings

Difficulty: easy

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups ripe pumpkin (peeled into cubes)
  • 1 cup (tea) of sugar
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 5 cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 cup coconut flakes (flakes)

Method of preparation:

Mix all the ingredients in a pressure cooker and bring to medium heat without stirring. As soon as it boils, cover the pan. Cook for 15 minutes on low heat, after the pressure has started and turn off. Let the pressure relax naturally, open the pan, add the coconut and mix. Let it cool completely and pour into a bowl. to serve.
