For those days when you only have a few minutes to organize something

Did you know that it takes half a minute to complete some important tasks? Well, even with a busy and overloaded life, where extra time is rare, there are quick and easy alternatives that will only take a few seconds of your precious time to organize your home.

No more excuses, take a look at household chores that can be done in 30 seconds:
1. Empty the trash in the bathroom

The small garbage cans in our homes can sometimes go unnoticed until they overflow. Make this task quicker and easier by stowing extra bags at the bottom of the basket. It will only take a moment to wrap up the used cover and open the new one.
2. Clean the TV screen

The TV screen always seems to need a cloth, right? Try a used clothes dryer sheet to prevent dust from settling back inside.
3. Change the vacuum bag or empty the bin
Whether your vacuum cleaner is bagless or with a bag, the dirty appliance wears out even more. Take a moment and double check your bag or trash. Remember that regular maintenance of your vacuum is essential to keep it running.
4. Clean a mirror
Try using vinegar and newspapers to clean the mirror. The vinegar will help the item dry without leaving marks, and the newspaper will leave less fluffy residue than paper towels.
5. Clean an appliance

Take a moment and scrub the outside of your dishwasher, refrigerator, oven, washer or dryer – remove stains and splatters. This way they will only need an occasional thorough cleaning.
6. Change bathroom or kitchen towels
Avoid cross-contamination of germs and bacteria by changing towels and kitchen towels frequently.
7. Test your smoke detector

Smoke detectors must be tested monthly and the batteries must be replaced at least once a year. Try testing the battery on the same day every month to make it easier to remember. Likewise, you can replace the batteries every year on a memorable date.
8. Dust off the vents
The openings and the wall surrounding them attract a lot of dust. Take a few minutes to clean them.
9. Change the battery in a watch
It may seem like little until you need to know the time.
10. Sprinkle the baking soda in the basket
Spraying baking soda on the trash from time to time will help prevent bad smells from invading your home.
11. Throw away any correspondence, catalogs or magazines

If piles and piles of papers, magazines and catalogs are scattered around the house, try taking a few minutes to throw away some of those materials.
12. Remove a stain
It only takes a few moments to sanitize many common stains.
13. Dust and water the plants

Keep your seedlings healthy by dusting and watering regularly.
14. Clean a bench
Disinfectant wipes facilitate quick cleaning of a countertop to prevent germs from spreading or food sticking to surfaces.
15. Sanitize forgotten areas
Scrub handles, switches, remotes and phones. These frequently used items are rarely remembered when cleaning.
16. Clean the refrigerator

Thirty seconds may not be enough to do a thorough cleaning, but it’s enough time to throw out the expired milk hidden in the back or a mysterious package wrapped in foil.
17. Replace the box of baking soda in the refrigerator or freezer
Using baking soda in the refrigerator is a great way to reduce odors, but the box needs to be changed.
18. Clean the dryer lint filter
Not only does fluff prevent the dryer from running efficiently, it can also pose a fire hazard. Take a moment and check the car.
19. Sweep the entrances to your home
Most of the dirt that ends up on our carpets and floors comes from outside our homes. Wide entrances help keep rooms more tidy.
20. Clean your car’s cup holders and cubicles

Don’t forget to keep the interior of your home on wheels. Clean up hidden places where garbage is stored.
21. Discard empty cleaning containers
Wherever you store your cleaning products, you are sure to have some that should be thrown in the trash. Make more room for the things you actually use by throwing out old or empty bottles.
22. Check your medicine box
Get rid of expired and unused medications. Not only will you help free up space for other items, but you will also reduce the risk of accidental poisoning or ingestion.
23. Prevent or help drain hooves with baking soda, vinegar, and warm water

Baking soda and vinegar can be a great help in freshening and unblocking drains. It only takes a moment to avoid severe headaches.
24. Shake the inlet and outlet mats
It is best to have two doormats for each entrance to your home. One mat should be placed indoors while the other must be placed outdoors. Remember to shake and clean these pieces regularly to prevent dirt and debris from getting into your space.
25. Throw out garbage and clutter from a small area
Try cleaning the trash can. Taking a few minutes to get rid of the clutter and clutter in a small area will give you the motivation to tackle even more challenging projects.
26. Dust off a ceiling fan
Grab a duvet and clean the blades of a ceiling fan. You will avoid the accumulation of dust and keep the items in good condition.
27. Sanitize the shutters
You can use a used sheet or a microfiber cloth. Iron them to avoid dust.
28. File today’s mail
We can be overwhelmed by the amount of mail we receive, but after taking out the trash, take a moment to put away the ones that need to be stored.
29. Vacuum cleaner for doors and windowsills
Take half a minute to vacuum a window sill or the top of a door. Dust usually accumulates in these areas, but can go unnoticed during routine cleaning.
30. Make a plan
If you don’t have time for anything else, take a few seconds to write a plan of the things that need to be done. When you find yourself with a few more moments available, you are ready to act.
