Rice with chicken and vegetables

ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1/2 onion, peeled and chopped
  • 1 clove of garlic, peeled and grated
  • 300 g of chicken breast diced
  • 1 cup of chicken broth
  • juice of 1 orange
  • 3 cups of water
  • Salt to taste
  • 200 g of canned corn
  • 2 cups of broccoli tea
  • 1 yellow pepper cut into slices
  • 1 green pepper cut into slices
  • 1 red pepper cut into cubes
  • 1 carrot, peeled and cut into rings

Method of preparation

In a pan, add the oil and put over medium heat to heat. Add the onion, garlic and sauté. Add the chicken and fry until golden brown. Then lower the heat, add the rice and salt and mix well. Then add the peppers, corn, broccoli, carrots, chicken broth, and orange juice. Stir to incorporate the ingredients, cover with the water, cover the pan and cook until the water dries. Serve immediately.

Biro-Biro rice

ingredients

  • 1 onion, peeled and chopped
  • 1 clove of garlic, peeled and crushed
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 3 cups of water
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 100 g of chopped bacon
  • 3 eggs
  • Salt to taste
  • 3 cups of rice tea
  • 100 g of potato straw
  • Salt to taste

Method of preparation

In a pan, add the oil and put over medium heat to heat. Add the onion, garlic and sauté. Add the rice and salt and sauté for 5 minutes. Add the water and cook until it dries. Turn off the heat and set aside. In another pan put the butter and let it heat over medium heat. Add the bacon and brown. Add the eggs and fry, leaving the yolks soft. Turn off the heat, add the rice set aside, the potato straw and mix well. Season with salt and serve immediately.

  • 1 cup of rice tea
  • water for cooking
  • 1/2 cup canned peas
  • 1/4 cup of tea cheese minced gorgonzola
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • Salt to taste

Method of preparation

In a pan, add the oil and put over medium heat to heat. Add the onion and garlic and brown. Add the rice and salt and sauté for 5 minutes. Add the water and cook until it dries. Then, add the pea, gorgonzola and butter and mix well. Turn off the heat and serve immediately.

Tip: serve garnished with basil leaves.
