The period between the sixth month and the seventh month of pregnancy is a very favorable phase to register your baby bump. It already has well-defined contours and you have not yet entered the classic period of swelling. Definitely rounded breasts, luxuriant skin and shiny hair make up the ideal look to capture your beauty as a future mother. Follow our tips so that the pictures look great and you can have your own maternity book, even if it’s homemade:
1. References
If you’re going to hire a professional to take your photos, ask for some references on the shoot they intend to do. You can also show pictures of the result you expect.
2. Fantasy
Remember: it’s your time. You can and should feel wonderful, complete, beautiful, absolute. Don’t be afraid to explore your fantasies and face the character that lives in your imagination. Nor pose according to his style and beliefs. Do you dream of an essay inspired by Hollywood divas? Why not? Are you planning something simpler and more minimalistic? Learn more about the idea. You must be satisfied.
3. Scenery
The ideal is to use a background without many elements, to make you stand out. This applies to both outdoor environments and studio photos.
4. No shadow
You can also record simple daily moments. Take advantage of the natural light that enters through a window or door and pose in front of your partner’s camera or cell phone. Also, don’t address it completely. When placed slightly to the side, the contours are more beautiful and harmonious.
5. Natural light
The best times to take advantage of natural light are in the morning, when the sun is rising and early in the morning, and in the late afternoon, when the sun is about to set.
6. Act natural
The more natural the poses, the better the result. Don’t be ashamed to prepare it at home in advance.
7. Symbolic objects
Consider exploring significant objects in photos, such as children’s shoes, photos of a loved one who has passed away, clothing, etc.
8. Well accompanied
Consider having the company of not only the father-to-be, but other children (if you have any), pets, your mother.
9. Special trip
If you prefer to combine two pleasant moments to remember the pregnant book, take pictures on a trip. You can hire a local photographer for the job.
10. Good locations
Photos on the balconies and near the windows always look great. Have a good time!
11. Intimate moment
Take some close-ups of your body, i.e. without the background showing too much and explore the light more. Black or white lingerie, bathrobes, kimonos, and dressing gowns make for a beautiful maternity book. If you don’t like showing up in your underwear, try it with a bathing suit or bikini.
12. Evolution
Choose a wall in your home or a neutral background and an outfit that shows off your curves: it could be lingerie, gym clothes or a leotard. Every week, take photos in the same position and with the same look. It will be really nice to follow the evolution now that the belly is really growing!
