Women are gaining more and more space in various sectors of society, and the business world is no different. Female entrepreneurship has grown globally during the pandemic, according to LinkedIn data. In Brazil, the increase was 41%. And it doesn’t stop.

While most of those who have entered entrepreneurship in recent years have done so out of necessity, either informally or as an individual micro-entrepreneur (MEI), there is an ongoing transformation and, with each generation, increasing empowerment.

In this sense, the support network and the visibility of women entrepreneurs have been very important, with the voice of those who have faced, among other challenges, prejudice and achieved success by echoing their stories on the journeys of those who still dream of a better future.

Because when a woman is successful, whatever her area of expertise, she not only achieves herself, but also inspires others to have the courage to start, the tenacity not to give up, and the confidence in her own ability to achieve.

Reconciling work time with family

When I started my journey, my biggest motivation was to be able to combine more quality time between work and family. It was then that, out of a need, in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, to facilitate purchases at the market, reduce waiting times in queues and have greater security, I created my company, Fast4you, an autonomous market in interior of residential and commercial condominiums.

It was a big challenge, because it was something innovative when it all started, two years ago. It wasn’t just a business, it was transforming many people’s lives, as we grew rapidly and are expanding with franchises all over Brazil.

Our first contracts were with two women and I am very moved to be able to accompany and be part of the transformation in each one’s life, who are now entrepreneurs of their own shops. Half of our network is made up of women leaders.

We have different histories, as well as motivations and obstacles, but goals converge so that we grow together for the sake of freedom, respect, independence and success.
