In collaboration with Mastercard, the ambassadors of the Priceless space are the protagonists of a series that highlights the flavors of the Amazon.
The first part of the first episode of the Mastercard webseries about Amazon expedition, with the special participation of chef Onildo Rocha, is now available on YouTube for viewers.
Produced by Maria Pinho, the series has given birth to a new gastronomic season at Notiê, located on top of the Light shopping center, in São Paulo.
In the first part of the journey, Onildo and Alê D’Agostinho, ambassadors of the Priceless space, travel to Belém do Pará, gateway to the Amazon, to learn about the gastronomic customs of the city and look for the traditional ingredients of the region.
The duo’s first stop is at a traditional restaurant in the Ver-o-Peso market, run by cattle rancher Eliana Fonseca, which serves famous delicacies of the city, such as fried little fish with açaà and tapioca flour.
Eliana and Onildo explain the use of the fruit in northern Brazil. In Belém, açaà is consumed in liquid form and accompanies flour and fish, but the way it is served can vary from city to city.
In the second part, which will still be made available to the public, Alê and Onildo will get to know the Ver-o-Peso market in depth, a place that offers a journey through Amazonian ingredients.
The remaining episodes of the series will be released in early 2023.
