The story was shared on a social network and vetoing the little ones received massive support in the comments
establishments and events “childfree” – i.e. where children are not allowed – sometimes they cause controversy and go viral on the networks. There are those who find it absurd to treat small children as a separate category from human beings (after all this would not be “acceptable” if it were done with the elderly, pregnant women or any other group), but there are those who defend the practice with the most varied justifications. This is the case for one groom who shared her story on incomea social network that functions as a kind of forum.
“My fiancée and I are getting married. We have decided that the marriage will be childless. We don’t hate them, we just want to keep [o casamento] more organized and contained, he began reporting anonymously. The problem is that the groom’s brother has a baby and was understandably not happy with the news. “My brother ‘Chris’ and his wife have a three-year-old son who everyone calls the ‘miracle’ or ‘rainbow’ baby. He was born after several failed attempts at pregnancy over the past few years. When they found out my nephew was in the rule, they tried to get me to make an exception for him,” the groom continued.
From that moment on, the boy’s parents began to insist, sending photos and saying that the little one would bring “blessings” to the marriage. The brother claimed that he could jeopardize the relationship between them, but even so the groom remained adamant. One day, tired of always giving the same answers, he put up signs saying: “Marriage is childless. Period.”

“The two were shocked. I asked if they understood and Chris lost control. (…) he said I disrespected him, as well as his wife and son, my only grandchild. (….) they and our parents are telling everyone how much I disrespected them and teased them with posters and now they are telling me to ‘fix’ it”.
The vast majority of comments on Reddit are in favor of the groom. “Your wedding, your rules,” said one user. Many have also pointed out that the lack of respect came from the parents of the child, who did not accept the decision of the managers of the event and continued to insist. But would the support be the same if the ban applied to other social groups? Since it was shared a week ago, the post has received more than 37,000 likes and 6,000 comments.
