Gessica Kayane, the owner of Farofa by GKay, a popular three-day birthday event, made her high-class debut sporting the evening’s first look. She is dressed in black with headdresses and arms resembling the sun. The piece is from haute couture and from the brand Schiapparelli, created in the late 1920s by the Italian Elsa Schiaparelli. Relaunched a few years ago, it has already dressed its clothes inspired by surrealism.
GKay’s look was modeled in the Paris-based brand’s latest haute couture collection. The pieces shown in the presentations are unique and if anyone wants one, it has to be made to order or borrowed. In GKay’s case, he bought it. In an interview with Vogue Magazine, Gkay she said: “Everyone knows that wearing this brand has always been a dream for me. Nothing like starting this event, which is so important to me, with a look as special as this. Everything,” she said.
The ‘farofeira’ had three fittings in Paris, styled by Daniel Ueda, who told the publication the look was chosen because it represented the sun. GKay later changed the look for another green and yellow all encrusted with crystals. “COME HEXAAAAAAAAAA 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷,” he wrote. The comedian will wear a total of six different looks over the three days of the party.
