Therefore, how the perfume smells in the packaging and how it will feel when interacting with the body are two completely different things. In addition, the quality of the perfume is very important. If you are really buying them as a gift, the price should be appropriate. A cheap perfume as a gift is a bad way. And if you’re giving perfume samples, you’ve most likely decided not to bother at all.

This is actually a pretty weird idea for a gift. Of course, we’re not talking about those cheap handkerchiefs that grandmas sell in the market. There are sets of handkerchiefs that are quite expensive and look presentable. But, firstly, in our time, few people use fabric scarves. Second, tissues are, in a sense, a means of personal hygiene. Such things can only be bought by very close people, and not as gifts, of course. Therefore, if you decide to choose an original gift for a friend or colleague, it is better to think about another option.

It’s the same with handkerchiefs. Personal care products are too intimate. At the very least, you should not give such things to non-family members. But even if you decide to please someone close in this way, think again several times. As with perfume, it will be difficult to guess the right scent, because everyone’s tastes are very different. And one more scrupulous moment – a person can perceive this gift as a hint of an unpleasant smell emanating from him.

Yes, in the 90-zero years, when it was fashionable to shine with strange and unnecessary things, maybe it was relevant. Now, in an age where simpler is better (and millionaires walk around in $20 T-shirts), that’s no longer appropriate. Usually such a gift remains in a case for another 10 years and is not used.

My friend once got a ticket to a Stas Mikhailov concert, and she was 16 at the time, and, of course, she was listening to completely different music. Most likely, it was just additional penetration. But even if you’re thinking of buying concert tickets on purpose, make sure the person likes the artist. And never give a ticket! So you put a person in an uncomfortable position: not everyone will dare or be happy to go to an event alone. Turns out you’ll have to find someone willing to keep company and pay to go to the gig. Or buy a second ticket yourself so you don’t get bored alone.

You ask, “What’s wrong with her?” The thing is, I once gave a full bath to a person who was taking a shower. The situation was comical. By the way, I was told that the gift was inappropriate only six months later. Then, of course, it was already fun and we just laughed together. But still, I was upset that I hadn’t guessed the gift, and the person was just embarrassed. But the lesson was learned forever. Before giving something, you need to think several times about how useful it will be for a person. Even if your recipient is taking a bath, are you sure they enjoy lounging in the water?

It’s also a gift from the distant past – when overseas travel was only for the elite. But now everything has changed. And no one has such a hobby – collecting magnets and hanging them on the fridge! This habit is long gone.

Such a gift can only be given by prior agreement, because a pet is a matter of responsibility. Not everyone wants to take care of an animal they didn’t dream of. Pets are not toys!

I recently learned that some people can “forgive a debt” as a holiday gift. It seems to me that borrowing and lending in general is not worth it, and then there is such a lack of tact. And it’s not a gift at all. We associate gifts with something pleasant that gives positive emotions. And here you seem to be putting a person down. It is a very subtle psychological moment. It turns out that instead of making yourself happy on vacation, you remind your beloved that he owes, but you forgive this debt from the shoulder of the master. We must separate financial affairs and friendship. Business deals should stay outside of personal relationships.
