Mary Lima
With an informal atmosphere, on the corner of Rua Carlos Weber and Rua Brentano, the MariaLima restaurant is one of the pioneers of gastronomy in Vila Leopoldina – Marcia Marques, owner of the space, opened the house in 2004. very bright and pleasant tables outside and, what matters most, good food. The meat parmigiana accompanied by potatoes and rice (R$ 55) is very tasty, as is the small escalope in mushroom sauce and risotto (R$ 59) and the salmon with leek straw (R$ 79, in the photo below) . Vila Leopoldina houses the Casa do Damasco company store. There they have a full line of sweets and treats made, of course, with apricots. The house specialty is apricot filled with dulce de leche and dark chocolate (R$34, 150 grams) as well as apricot filled with pistachio (R$7, piece). There is also apricot covered in sweet and sour chocolate (R$ 40, 180 grams) and jams made by the company itself, such as apricot and pepper jam (R$ 12).

One of the main burger attractions in Vila Leopoldina is Criminal Burger. This is the case of the flagship of the house, indicated by the waiter himself as the most popular dish: the Criminal (R$ 40), with house bread, hamburger, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, homemade pickles , bacon and mayonnaise. Returning to Carlos Weber, a cozy restaurant where you can try the Italian cuisine of the neighborhood is at Mamaggiore.
