Guava jam

Ingredients:

  • 5 guavas, peeled and halved (save the peels)
  • 2 cups of water (tea)
  • 1 cup (tea) of sugar
  • White cheese to accompany

Method of preparation:

  1. Peel the guavas and cut them in half
  2. Then remove the pulp from the fruits, leaving a hole in the center of them.
  3. In a pan, heat the guava pulp, peels and water until boiling.
  4. Remove, hit the blender and then the sieve
  5. Add the sugar and put back on the heat until it boils.
  6. Add the guavas and cook until softened and the syrup thickens.
  7. Let it cool, put it in a container and put it in the fridge
  8. Serve cold, accompanied by white cheese.
