Eliezer caught the internet’s attention after reporting on the fall Viih Tube suffered on the beach. The doctor explains if there are any risks for the pregnancy
Eliezer opened a question box in his Instagram Stories this Wednesday (01/02) to engage with fans. Then, one of the followers asked what was the biggest scare he and his girlfriend Viih Tube went through while pregnant with the couple’s first child, Lua.
“Viih picked up a box out of nowhere on the beach on this latest trip. We were on a beach with no waves and a ‘shovel’ came out of nowhere,” the digital influencer explained. “We got scared, because he ended up hitting his belly in the sand, but nothing happened. Thank God,” he added, detailing what happened.
Do episodes like Viih Tube put the child at risk?
According to the doctor. Carla Iaconelli, a gynecologist specializing in human reproduction, is concerned about the possible fall of a pregnant woman. However, most of the time there are no consequences for the child. “When the pregnant woman falls from the same height as her, i.e. she’s not a great height. So, most of the time there are no consequences for the baby, either in the beginning or at the end of the pregnancy,” she says.
This is because, according to the doctor, the baby is protected by the skin, fat, muscles, uterus and amniotic fluid, which greatly reduces the impact. “If the pregnant woman falls, she has to be careful,” emphasizes the specialist. According to the gynecologist, it is important to pay attention to the following signs:
- Contractions after the fall;
- Belly very hard;
- Presence of bleeding;
- Decreased movement of the child.
But, without panic, reassure the specialist. “If it falls, even further into the sand, it might even cushion the fall even more. So, I think it was nothing but a scare and everything will be fine for the baby and the mother,” he says.
Viih Tube and Eliezer announced their pregnancy in September 2022. Today, the former BBB and influencer is approximately 6 months pregnant, meaning Lua’s arrival is still expected in the first half of 2023.
