Margaret Qualley wore a sheer, bra-free black Chanel dress on the red carpet at the Toronto International Film Festival on Sunday evening, two months after her representatives confirmed she and husband Jack Antonoff were separating.

The 31-year-old actress attended the premiere of Love of Your Life at the Royal Alexandra Theatre in the low-cut, super sheer gown, which left little to the imagination, pairing it with high strappy black heels.

Split from Jack Antonoff

It was announced in July that Qualley had split from Antonoff, a music producer, after nearly three years of marriage. The pair, who have an 11-year age gap, had not been publicly pictured together since the Grammy Awards on February 1, and their split came one month shy of their third wedding anniversary.

Qualley's representative told TMZ on July 10 that there was no infidelity and no trust issues behind the end of her "rocky" marriage to Antonoff, a Golden Globe-nominated songwriter known for his production work with major recording artists.

Qualley first appeared without her wedding ring in August, at the world premiere of The Dog Stars in London, marking her first red carpet appearance since the split.

Signs the marriage was ending

Antonoff raised eyebrows when he attended Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding festivities on July 3 with his sister Rachel as his date rather than Qualley.

The pair may still have been together on March 31, when Qualley shared an Instagram story wishing Antonoff a happy birthday. She has since changed her Instagram handle back to her legal name, Sarah Margaret Qualley, instead of a reference to his music, and deleted photos she had shared in March from their wedding at Beach Haven in Antonoff's native New Jersey.

Past relationships

Before they began dating in the summer of 2021, Antonoff reportedly dated the photographer Carlotta Kohl, as well as Lena Dunham and Scarlett Johansson. Qualley has previously been romantically linked to her Death Note co-star Nat Wolff, Saturday Night Live alum Pete Davidson and her Love Me Like You Hate Me co-star Shia LaBeouf.

What's next for Qualley

Qualley currently stars as the medic Cima in Ridley Scott's $110 million science fiction film The Dog Stars, alongside Jacob Elordi, Josh Brolin and Allison Janney, now playing in US and UK theaters. Scott, the veteran director behind films including Alien, Blade Runner and Gladiator, is one of Hollywood's most prolific filmmakers.

Her upcoming projects include Amazon's romantic drama Love of Your Life, the film she was promoting at the Toronto premiere, and Neon's Southern supernatural horror King Snake.
