María Pombo Wears €400 Handmade Portuguese Bag

María Pombo wore a €400 handmade Portuguese bag from Entrudo, made from woven palm and hand-embroidered cotton, during her Cantabria holiday.

María Pombo Wears €400 Handmade Portuguese Bag

María Pombo, the Spanish influencer, is spending a few days off in Cantabria and has once again won over her followers with an outfit where every detail matters. Hours after sharing a white linen set suited to touring the region's villages, she switched to a casual look built around a handmade bag rather than the clothes themselves.

Pombo wore a blue knit sweater from La Piscine The Label, white jeans from Zara and sunglasses from Lespecs, but the attention went to her bag from Entrudo, a Portuguese brand that specializes in handcrafted pieces drawing on the country's traditional techniques and motifs.

The handmade Portuguese bag

Pombo chose the Póvoa model from Entrudo, which costs 400 euros. It is built on a natural palm base with a cotton panel that is woven and embroidered entirely by hand.

The design includes details in red, black and off-white, along with rigid black leather handles that add an elegant contrast. Each bag is made to order, a process that limits overproduction and makes every piece more exclusive.

The design behind the bag draws on the traditional poveiro sweater, a garment typical of Póvoa de Varzim in northern Portugal that is known for its distinctive embroidery and has been recognized as a certified geographical indication product. The bag translates that Portuguese craftsmanship into an accessory without losing its original character.

An accessory that elevates a basic look

Rather than building a heavily accessorized outfit, Pombo showed that a single accessory can completely transform a simple ensemble. She paired the bag with a sky-blue ribbed long-sleeved sweater, straight-cut white jeans, a thin black belt and rectangular sunglasses with a 1990s feel.

The result is a comfortable, fresh look that is easy to recreate, with the bag standing out as the true focal point thanks to its mix of natural materials, handmade embroidery and leather details.

That combination of basic clothing and a characterful accessory is what elevates the outfit without relying on bright colors or oversized jewelry.

A handmade piece that unites tradition and design

Entrudo began as a family project aimed at reinterpreting some of Portugal's most representative textile traditions through contemporary accessories. All of its designs are produced entirely in the north of the country using natural materials and artisan techniques such as hand embroidery, weaving and work with plant fibers.

With this bag, Pombo shows once again that trends can coexist with craftsmanship and local design. The piece goes beyond a simple summer indulgence, turning a basic look into an outfit with its own personality, well suited to her ongoing vacation in Cantabria or any other seaside getaway.
