Martha Stewart debuted a pink hair transformation over the weekend, trading her frosty blonde locks for a rosy, blush hue reminiscent of Kylie Jenner's 2016 "King Kylie" era.

Jenner's "King Kylie" period refers to her late teenage and early 20s years, when she was known for flamboyant style and colorful wigs.

Chris Appleton, the 43-year-old hairstylist known for working with Kim Kardashian, shared an Instagram video with Stewart on Sunday captioned "Welcome to the rose gold era."

He followed up with a second post featuring two photos of the new shade, captioning it "Rose gold... It's a good thing," a nod to Stewart's tagline from the 1990s.

Fans react to the new look
Fans praised the change in the comments, with one person asking how Stewart was "aging backwards." Another commenter said the color made her look about 30 years younger. Others suggested renaming the shade "Martha's pink" or "Martha's rose garden gold," while Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause dubbed it "Pink Chic."

Stewart's new hairstyle was styled in a side part with soft, tousled waves grazing her collarbone. Makeup artist Nicole Daisy Toye applied a dewy mauve look to complete the transformation.

Appleton's celebrity roster
Appleton's client list includes Kardashian, Jenner, Ariana Grande, Christina Aguilera and Katy Perry. He and Stewart have worked together before, and in July he shared a "Martha Stewart appreciation post" with his four million Instagram followers, quoting her praise that he knows how to make every woman he touches look like a movie star.
Stewart's approach to aging
In a recent interview with People, Stewart credited good genes, noting her mother looked great at 95, along with eating well, not drinking much and exercising daily. A recent dinner party she hosted included garden pea soup, sauteed scallops over potato puree, and corn.
Stewart said she gets a little bit of filler a few times a year but has never had plastic surgery. She said she does facial exercises, gets facials from Mario Badescu and Georgia Louise, and takes peptides. She described herself as more of a "maintenance kind of person," saying she is not getting her boobs, hips or butt done.
