Megan Pickford shared a video showing the removal of her blonde hair extensions during a family getaway to Turkey on Wednesday. The wife of England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, 30, ditched her voluminous tresses for her natural blonde hair. She shed the glamorous look she became known for while supporting him around the US with their children during the World Cup.
She posted a picture of her tape extensions being removed at a Turkish salon. She joked about the change, writing, "RIP hair, you will be missed."
In another post, she wrote, "Hair extension condolences are welcome here #holiday #hair #bouncyblow #tapeextensions #mermaid." She then showed off her natural locks while wearing a white checked bikini and jumping into a swimming pool.
The mother of three also shared a video from their stay at Regnum The Crown. The clip showed her racing down waterslides with Jordan and their seven year old son Arlo. The couple share two other children, three year old Ostara Haze and 15 month old Misty Celine.
Ibiza holiday wardrobe
Before travelling to Turkey, the couple spent time soaking up the sun in Ibiza. Megan shared details of her designer wardrobe from the trip, captioning a post, "Ibiza Meg was a special place to be".
Her outfits included a £415 green crochet Retrofete dress, a £420 Miu Miu hat, Roberto Cavalli sunglasses, £1,695 Christian Louboutin boots and a £595 Missoni patterned bag. She also wore a £670 Dior halterneck top with white jeans and heels, and paired an Asos bikini with a Chanel visor and sunglasses from the designer.
Childhood sweethearts
Megan and Jordan met at ages 14 and 16 at St Robert of Newminster Catholic school in Washington, a town located between Newcastle and Sunderland. Jordan moved from Sunderland to Everton in 2017 for a £25million transfer fee, making him the most expensive goalkeeper in British history.
The couple live in a £3million mansion. Their close friends and neighbours include Fern, wife of Harry Maguire; Sasha Attwood, girlfriend of Jack Grealish; and Annie Kilner, partner of Kyle Walker. Megan is reported to idolise Coleen Rooney, who met her husband Wayne when they were 12.
A source previously told the Daily Mail, "She has grown up looking up to the older WAGs. Now she's the boss and fully intends to boss it. She's a working-class girl who dreamt of having these times."
The source added, "She has been at Jordan's side for 15 years now and has been with him on his journey from a football-mad schoolboy to one of the best goalkeepers in the world."
