Mick Jagger, 83, showed off his dance moves during a night out at a crowded club on Mustique, the Caribbean island that is one of his favorite holiday spots.

The Rolling Stones frontman shared the video on Instagram with his 3.5 million followers, writing that he was "enjoying the summer, hope you are too." The clip shows Jagger with his arms in the air as he shimmies across the dance floor beneath a large disco ball, while the crowd of revellers around him appears unaware of the superstar in their midst.

Jagger was dancing to the Rolling Stones' latest track, Mr Charm. The video prompted his son Lucas, 27, to comment "Stream 'mr charm' please," a jokey plug after he had previously quipped that his father's band "need the streams." In another comment, Lucas, who is Jagger's only child with Brazilian model Luciana Gimenez Morad, summed up his reaction by writing "Lmaoooo."

A history of trolling his dad

Lucas has a track record of commenting on his father's Instagram posts. In June, Jagger shared a carousel of photos from a trip to Italy, and Lucas took aim at his father's baker boy cap, writing "The hat on slide 8 needs to be removed from ur wardrobe." Back in 2024, Lucas trolled his father's dancing under another video, writing "Dadda WHO PUT U UP TO THis 2024."

Jagger has also opened up about the difficulties of ageing. Speaking to the New York Times' The Interview, he said there was "nothing good about it," adding, "Nothing. You don't get wisdom. You forget everything. Forgot all my wisdom."

He said it wasn't "particularly pleasant" and that he could no longer do things as quickly as he wanted. "You can still do them, but you have to be more careful," he said.

Staying grounded despite fame

Jagger also discussed how his long career of fame has affected his daily life. "Obviously, it's not normal," he said. "It is not like most people's lives. It does affect you. You can become disassociated. From other people." To stay grounded, he said, "You go out and walk on the street on your own and do normal things."
