Former Victoria's Secret model Miranda Kerr revealed her 15-year-old son Flynn meditates with his girlfriend after learning Vedic meditation during a family ceremony. The 43-year-old model shared details about her family life during an appearance on the podcast Let's Be Honest with Kristin Cavallari.

Kerr explained that her close friend Patti Quintero from Uma Mother visited her home to conduct the session. "They each got to do their mantra and then practice their mantra with their eyes closed," Kerr said. She added that Flynn enjoyed the practice so much that he introduced it to his partner, who then shared it with a group of her friends so they could all meditate collectively.

Vedic meditation originated in ancient India and requires individuals to sit with their eyes closed while silently repeating a personalized sound known as a bija, or seed, mantra. Kerr shares Flynn with her ex-husband, actor Orlando Bloom. She also has three younger sons, eight-year-old Hart, six-year-old Myles, and two-year-old Pierre, with her husband, Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel.

Exercise Routine and Fitness

During the interview, Kerr also disclosed that she rarely works out anymore following her retirement as a Victoria's Secret Angel in 2013. She recalled exercising five or six times a week ahead of major lingerie shows in the past, but she now relies primarily on healthy eating to maintain her figure.

"Now, it's very different," Kerr said. "Honestly, right now, I'm just doing the Megan Rupp 10 minute quickie workouts. Just every other day, but I eat really well." The Australian model outlined her health regimen and explained the diet she follows to support her appearance and wellbeing.

Kerr highlighted her long-standing habit of drinking noni juice, which she began at age 13. "I've been drinking noni juice since I was 13. I'm 43, that's 30 years!" she stated. She described noni juice as a superfood that originates from Tahiti but also grows in other regions, including Australia.

Daily Wellness and Morning Rituals

Every morning, Kerr drinks a 30ml shot of noni juice because she believes it contains rich levels of antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. She also gives some of the juice to her youngest child. Following the shot, she drinks a homemade tea made from marshmallow leaf, noting that it is good for the gut lining.

Her morning ritual continues with coconut yoghurt topped with a dollop of locally-sourced honey and a bite of a banana. Kerr only drinks her morning coffee after completing this wellness routine. She avoids traditional cow's milk and uses coconut milk in her coffee instead.

For her coffee, Kerr exclusively drinks Fabula coffee because she claims it is mould-free and lead-free. "I had it tested personally to make sure because I don't always believe the labels," she revealed. Rather than using conventional sweeteners, she adds maple syrup to her brew.

Elsewhere in the interview, Miranda also revealed she now rarely works out after retiring as a Victoria's Angel in 2013

Diet Restrictions and Meal Choices

When it comes to breakfast, Kerr excludes eggs from her menu. Instead, she gets her protein from high-quality meats such as venison, bison, lamb, and turkey. "I eat all the meats that aren't mass-produced," she explained.

Although Kerr admitted she is "not much of a fruit girl," she noted that bananas remain one of her favorite snacks. "A banana is a great snack to go when you have to be on the run. It's got good potassium and it's something quick," she said. She avoids dairy, wheat, and eggs, and maintains strict guidelines regarding cooking oils, using only coconut oil or avocado oil for cooking and reserving olive oil for salads.

Instead of bread or rice, Kerr prefers vegetables as her main source of carbohydrates, consuming large amounts of squash, carrots, and parsnips. She also limits her seafood intake due to concerns over mercury levels in fish, noting that she eats a little salmon but avoids eating too much.

Sushi is completely off her menu due to the risk of parasites. "I used to live on sushi when I lived in New York until I learned," Kerr said regarding parasites. However, she still enjoys eating caviar, saying, "I do love caviar. Caviar is good, there's no parasites there. It's good for you. Good fat."

To satisfy her sweet cravings, Kerr makes carob treats and hot drinks with her younger children during home tea parties. She hosts tea parties with her six-year-old son and her two-year-old baby, serving lemon balm tea alongside carob that she personally tested to confirm it is lead-free. Kerr added that she still enjoys chocolate flavors and prepares her own hot chocolate using carob, coconut milk, and maple syrup.
