The Flash poster teases a very familiar Batman logo

the flash It hasn’t had the smoothest ride to theaters, to say the least. First there were the pandemic-related delays, then the ongoing allegations against its star, Ezra Miller, that have yet to be resolved, erupted, followed by the confusion over exactly which universe this is in as we head towards the reboot of the DC Universe. by James Gunn. But, as his announcement makes clear, the flash will be instrumental in kicking off DC’s new era, and now fans who have been waiting for something, anything, to get excited about have finally got what they wanted.

A new teaser poster showed us the Batman logo for the first time before a massive trailer debuted during Sunday’s Super Bowl.

Now, we won’t be a little Robert Pattinson Batman and have our detective here for a second, but this logo hanging in the Batcave looks a lot like the razor-winged logo worn by Michael Keaton’s Batman as he plays the Caped Crusader. There were rumors that Keaton’s role had been cut — or, at the very least, that his bat wings had been cut and his role reduced — but such a large lead would suggest that no matter what, it will remain important. . (And let’s get into our X-ray specs of Christian Bale’s Batman for a second, wait, this Batcave looks a lot, a lot like Christopher Nolan’s era of the Bat. There may be another era of Batman lurking in the shadows that provides the cameos that Gotham deserves, and also the one it needs right now?)
