Incognito mode | How to Enable Incognito Browsing on Tinder

Tinder’s incognito mode allows the profile to appear only to those who have received a like, but it is not available in the app’s free plan

Incognito mode, or anonymous mode, is the alternative to Tinder to navigate the dating app without appearing in other people’s feeds. The feature allows you to use the platform unobtrusively, but still gives you the freedom to like or reject other profiles.

How does Tinder incognito mode work?

When incognito mode is enabled on Tinder, you can still accept or reject people in the app. However, your profile will only be shown to people who have received your likes. It’s an alternative to hiding your profile and only showing it to those you’re interested in, as well as avoiding meeting people you know on the platform.

However, this feature is only available to package subscribers. Tinder Gold and Tinder Platinum. Anonymous surfing has been added to the list of benefits of the service, which also allows you to send unlimited likes, see who liked the profile, undo decisions in the app and other additional functions.

How to Enable Incognito Mode on Tinder

  1. Open Tinder and select the profile area;
  2. Tap the gear icon to open settings;
  3. Scroll down to the “My Visibility” section and tap “Use Incognito Mode”;
  4. If you have already subscribed to the app’s paid services, you can use incognito browsing right away. For non-subscribers, Tinder displays a screen to complete payment and receive the benefit.

How to hide profile on Tinder

In the free version of Tinder, you can still hide your profile, but the option doesn’t allow you to send likes to other people. Follow the same steps to the settings screen and select “Don’t show my Tinder profile”. With the feature active, only Matches will be able to see your profile.

The app also offers other privacy-enhancing features, such as the ability to remove the read receipt or remove your account from the Highlights and Match Time screens.
