Hugh Jackman has shared an impressive image of the training routine he is following to play Wolverine again in ‘Deadpool 3’.

Jackman tweeted a photo of himself lifting a weight, with his personal trainer posing next to him. In the text of the image, Jackman tagged his partner, Ryan Reynolds, and wrote: “He is only 46 years old. I am older, but he is not my rival. #bethlewisfit @VancityReynolds.”

Jackman is known for training hard for his movies and is currently undergoing a strict regimen to get in shape for ‘Deadpool 3’.. However, recently, he was asked about his use of steroids to enhance his physique in this role.

To these accusations, the actor denied having used steroidsstating that he “transforms” into Wolverine “like old school.”

“I love my job and I love Wolverine. I have to be careful how I say the following but, they told me, anecdotally, the side effects of that and I thought, ‘I don’t like so much my job’. So no. I did it through the classic method.“

Jackman’s latest tweet is the continuation of his viral “battle” with Reynolds, which both actors have been engaged in for the past few months.

A few weeks ago, Jackman asked him (humorously) to the Academy not to nominate Reynolds for his song ‘Good Afternoon’ from ‘Spirited‘, because she would find it “unbearable” to work with him.

“I just found out that the Academy has shortlisted ‘Good Afternoon’ for Best Song. Ryan Reynolds being nominated for Best Song may make the next year of my life unbearable,Jackman joked.

“I have to spend a year shooting with him, ‘Wolverine and Deadpool’. Trust me, it would be impossible.”

Reynolds and ‘Spirited’ were not finally nominated for an Oscar. Reynolds’ response, however, led fans to believe that the official title of ‘Deadpool 3’ had been revealed, when the actor tweeted: “‘Wolverine and Deadpool’? Really?”

The actor himself silenced these rumors, so fans of the saga will have to keep waiting for new information. At least until the “bite” between Reynolds and Jackman continues to bring news.
