Singer Calogero will be the star of the next M6 fiction

Singer Kalogero is going to take his first steps in comedy. Author, composer and performer to whom we owe similar titles in weightlessness, in front of the sea or That I could miss himWill definitely be on the poster for Tessa, the next M6 feature film, which began filming this Monday, February 13 in and around Marseille.

Directed by Jérôme Cornuau (Peur sur le Lac, Fugueuse), this 90-minute TV movie is loosely adapted from the novel. Touch the walls, written by singer Tessae. A girl from Marseille, a victim of school harassment, found salvation in music.

Singing has always been the reason for life for Tessa, a 16-year-old teenager. So when he returns to high school, he puts the odds in his favor by choosing the option of music.

But very quickly, Tessa becomes the target of ridicule from some of her classmates, who are jealous of her talent. A teenager, abandoned by his best friend, faces daily harassment that pushes him to the brink. To continue moving forward and regain his taste for life, he will need the support of his loved ones and especially Rafael, his music teacher.

For this occasion, Calogero transfers his qualities to Rafael, a teacher who will help Tessa realize her biggest dream: to perform on stage. The young girl is played by Charlie Louiselier, a finalist in the first season of The Voice Kids in 2014, who was recently on the poster for the musical comedy France TV Slash ReuSSS. Also announced in the casting is Charlie Bruno, aka Roxane in En Famille.

In addition to Tessa, M6 has already announced two more unreleased feature films for 2023. The first is an adaptation of Les Espions de la terreur, an investigation by journalist Mathieu Souk that takes us to the heart of the French secret services. Terrorist attacks since November 13, 2015. This 4-episode series was directed by Vincent Elbaz, Fleur Geffrier (Vise le coeur) and Rachida Brackney (Baron Noir).

The channel is also filming Les Anonymes, a 2×52-minute featurette in which Eric Cantona portrays Castaneda, an ex-outlaw who returns to work after his daughter disappears.
