He remake from the horror film classic, ‘Nosferatu’, directed by Robert Eggers, has added a new star to its cast. It’s about Emma Corrinwhom we met on ‘The Crown’ for her portrayal of Diana Princess of Wales (commonly known as Lady Di).
Now, years after starring in two seasons of one of Netflix’s best original series, Corrin delves into this gothic tale of vampires, in which she is accompanied by Other recognized actors and actresses such as: Bill Skarsgård, Lily Rose-Depp, Nicholas Hoult or Williem Dafoe.
As reported Deadline, andCorrin’s role in the remake has not yet been revealed. However, it will not take us long to know this information, since the filming of the film will begin next month, on the European continent.
Set in 19th century Germany, the story will follow the Nosferatu vampire who, obsessed with an attractive young woman, will relentlessly harass and terrorize her. Skarsgård, who already has experience in the horror genre having given life to the chilling clown from ‘IT’, will be in charge of giving life to the protagonist.
For his part, it is not the first time that Corrin has ventured into projects that portray period stories. We have not only seen her in ‘The Crown’, we have also been able to enjoy her work in ‘Lady Chatterley’s Lover’, ‘My Policeman’ (co-starring Harry Styles) or ‘Pennyworth’.
Now it remains to be seen if he dominates terror with the same mastery as the rest of the genres he has worked on. Will this become one of those terrifying remakes that surpassed the original?
