At the San Siro Milan beat Tottenham, 1-0, this Tuesday, in the first leg of the round of 16 of the Champions League and went ahead in search of the next stage. Brahim Díaz scored the only goal of the match.

First, however, the teams focus on their respective national tournaments. Tottenham duel with West Ham, this Sunday, at 13:30, for the 24th round of the English. Milan, on the other hand, plays against Monza on Saturday at 2 pm for the 23rd round of the Italian Championship.

The game
Milan opened the scoring in the sixth minute. Theo Hernández won his dispute with Cristian Romero, submitted and watched Forster save. Then Brahim Díaz tries, but the goalkeeper avoids him once again. Number 10 persisted and headed for the door.
Then Tottenham arrives with a throw into the area, but the ball is calm for Tatarusanu in defense. The English had another chance after Son’s free-kick, but the AC Milan defense calmly pulled back.
In the last stretch, Rafael Leão tries from the edge of the area and sends high. Before the end of the first half, Tottenham nearly equalised. Kane had the upper hand after saving Son’s kick. The ball hit the post and bounced over the line, but did not go in.
The opening minutes of the second half repeated much of the first half and didn’t show much emotion. Even with the changes aiming for an equaliser, Tottenham struggled to complete moves well. Milan came close to doubling the lead in the 32nd minute with a header by De Ketelaer close to goal.
Then, the blues get scared again with Thiaw, who receives from Rafael Leão and, with a header, expels him near the post from Forster. Tottenham’s response followed. Richarlison geared up for Pape Sarr, who sent wide.
