Un Si Grand Soleil preview: Wednesday February 15, 2023 episode recap [SPOILERS]

Claudine proceeds with her plan

Milo and Johanna are out jogging early in the morning and the entrepreneur is clearly in good shape. Indeed, the testimony against Soriano gives him hope that he will be able to save his box. Even if it plays in their favor, Johanna reminds him that it’s not won yet. Despite everything being calm, he promises to build a solid defense to reassure his customers. Grateful, Milo warmly thanks her for listening and being flexible. While awaiting trial, Milo is now going to take advantage of it. A program that Johanna likes very much.

For his part, Gerald tries to understand how Marius could do such a thing to him. To find out about it, he tried to approach her several times, but to no avail. Moreover, Gerald is very worried. Between the police, the hospital, and Robin’s parents, he knows he’s going to have to be held accountable. To reassure him, Yasmin says that she is sure that the authorities will eventually prove that Marius made it all up. So he asks her to endure, but above all to fight to prove her innocence.

Claudine, on the other hand, meets Prosecutor Bernier, who is in a bad mood today, especially since the dinner he promised her a few days ago is slow to arrive. Claudine smiles and then invites her to dinner that evening, which she happily accepts.

Becker, who witnessed the exchange, waits until the prosecutor leaves to find out what he’s playing with him. Ironically, the lawyer simply replies that he puts it in his pocket because it can always be useful to him.

At the hospital, Yasmin asks to speak to Dr. Cresson. After revealing that he was the companion of the person who took care of the work on the air conditioner, the caretaker assures us that his companion is the most conscientious and honest person he knows. Never one to take her job lightly, she confirms that Gerald isn’t responsible for all of this. Unfortunately, his explanations fail to convince Evan, who believes that justice is up to him.

As night falls, Ian and Becker investigate. After interviewing the hospital staff, Lt. Cross found that no one had noticed any attitude that might indicate that Gerald had quit his job. However, no one can prove otherwise. Moreover, Ian renewed the insurance, but they have nothing. So they will have to wait.

Claudine calls Marius and confirms that everything is going as planned. He also informs her that a second envelope with cash is waiting for her in the mailbox to continue the plan. However, Marius is worried and afraid that he will get into trouble. Claudine tells him she gave her word and invites him to stop stressing. When it’s all over, he’ll get a break at worst. Because he has no history, he is charged with a simple fine, which Claudine promises to pay. So he begs her to trust him, confident that everything will be fine if he does exactly what he tells her.

After hanging up, Claudine puts on latex gloves, then places a letter in an envelope addressed to the DA…

ULYSSE and BILAL decide to create a color

Alix and Helen still haven’t heard from Ulysses, but they don’t really have time to worry as Mark Maury arrives at the gallery with the anvil he’s restored.

Meanwhile, Ulis and Bilal are having breakfast with their neighbor. When Akim’s brother asks to visit his workshop, Ulysses is embarrassed and reminds him that the idea was to get some fresh air to find his inspiration. Bilal then apologizes to him, but does not contradict Ulysses, promising to show him soon.

After setting up the projector, Christian, Elena, Alix and Mark watch this mysterious film, where we see bullfighting races, old pictures of the comedy arena, and an artist painting a canvas signed Definod in 1902. If they now have evidence that the latter lived well into the early 20th century, they also know that he painted another work than they discovered. In order to authenticate the location where these images were shot, Mark offers to post a photo of the film. While Christian thinks it’s a great idea, Alix and Ellen aren’t too far off.

Not far from there, Bilal and Ulysses are walking on the beach. Fascinated by the colors of the sea, they have an idea to create a new color. So they go to the neighbor. The on-site chemist set up a laboratory in the kitchen to conduct various tests, namely on red.

At the same time, Elena and Christian toast this new historical discovery. Christian, unable to understand how Definaud could have gone unnoticed with his talent, takes it upon himself to discover other paintings by the artist. Embarrassed, Helen advises him not to worry as they know little about them. But it doesn’t help, Christian is sure he can do it.

In turn, Ulysses calls on Alix to leave him alone in the creative process. He also makes her realize that pressuring her won’t get her what she wants. When Alix points out to him that their project is as important to him as it is to her, he encourages the young man to stop panicking because she has found a way forward. After confirming that he will have the paintings on Thursday, Ulysses promises to call before hanging up.
