On Tuesday evening (14), director Todd Phillips, who shot “Joker” and is working on the sequel, “Joker 2” (English: “Joker: Folie à Deux”, not yet nominated in Brazil), released the premiere image of Lady Gaga in the film. It will be Harlequin.
In the image, the singer and actress appears against the wall and held down by the Joker, played by Joaquin Phoenix. Moments later, Gaga also released the image. Watch:
The publication was made on Valentine’s Day in the United States (or Valentine’s Day), exacerbating the romance between the Joker and Harley Quinn.
Filming on the feature film continues in full at the Warner lot in Burbank, California, USA, with a five-week forecast. Phoenix and Gaga star in the production, with Phillips writing (as well as directing) and Scott Silver co-writing.
Not much is known about the plot of the film, other than that it will take place in Arkham Asylum, with the inclusion of musical elements. “Joker 2” will be released in theaters on October 4, 2024.
