‘Saw 10’ ends its filming. When will we see the new horror saga movie?

‘Saw 10’ (also known as ‘Saw X’), filming has finished just 8 months before its theatrical release date.

The latest film in the horror film franchise It has its release date planned for October 27, 2023, and this data has not been modified despite having finished filming just a few days ago.

Maybe a new release date will be announced or, perhaps, the filmmakers behind the project can manage the editing, ADR, foreign dubbing, etc. in a short amount of time.

Kevin Greutert, the director in commandrecently explained in Twitter what to develop ‘Saw X’ had been a complicated process at times and that it could take longer than planned. However, he did not hesitate to praise the cast and crew for their dedication.

“We just finished shooting ‘Saw X’ and despite the big challenges (easy movies are rarely worth it), it has been one of the most epic and satisfying experiences of my life,” he wrote.

“The cast and crew were in full swing, and almost everyone involved was new to the ‘Saw’ Universe.; I had COVID during the last two weeks of production and almost the entire movie was shot in difficult locations in Mexico City.”

“My fingers are already shaking to start post-production. I hope we can use the title, ‘Saw X’, because this new release goes back to the roots of what makes the series special to me and everyone who loves it.”

Lastly, he would like to thank the cast, with a special mention for John Kramer/Jigsaw (Tobin Bell), the members of the technical team and those in charge of the film’s prosthetics. Greutert also mentioned Lionsgate’s support for “trust me in this beastly and bloody story.”

In addition to Tobin Bell, the film will bring back Shawnee Smith — even though her character, Amanda Young, died in the saga.
