As we know, Netflix allows more private productions to shine internationally and be seen by as many people as possible. Now it is the Kuwaiti series that is part of it. Titled The Exchange, the film follows two women who storm the ruthless stock exchange in 1980s Kuwait, breaking the rules of its corrupt “boys club” along the way. It currently ranks 7th in France’s most watched programs and continues to climb. Perhaps it is the merit of positive opinions and effective speech in social networks.

The stock market does too Excellent score Internationally, especially in Arab countries. Something that would make Kuwait and its media proud, for example Kuwait Times who titles his article: “A series that puts Kuwaiti products on the map.” This program is written by Nadia Ahmed, who was inspired by the story of her mother, who therefore worked in the stock market.
What perhaps makes Exchange so successful is its subject that speaks for all – the place of women in a patriarchal society and their emancipation – its two perceptive heroines, played to perfection by Ravan Mahdi and Mona Hussain, and its aesthetic.
Subscribers are now waiting for only one thing: Season 2.
