“Kinopoisk” has announced the release date of the fourth part of “John Wick” in the Russian box office. The new film will be available in theaters on March 23rd. The film distributor will be the Atmosfera Kino company run by Ruben Dishdishyan and Vadim Ivanov. The premiere in Russia will take place the day before the scheduled world release.
The fourth part of the franchise was directed by director Chad Stahelski, who created the previous three films. Previously, he was a stuntman and worked as an understudy for Reeves in the Matrix trilogy, and then moved to the director’s chair. The final trailer for John Wick 4 has already been posted on Lionsgate Movies social media.
Keanu Reeves still plays the lead role. Along with him, Laurence Fishburne, Lance Reddick, Rina Sawayama, Donnie Yen, Shamir Anderson, Bill Skarsgård, Hiroyuki Sanada, Scott Adkins and Clancy Brown star in the film. Ian McShane returned to play Winston, the manager of the Continental Hotel.
The events of the new “John Wick” will unfold in the United States, Japan, Jordan, France and Germany. The main character will have to oppose an elite organization of killers called the High Table. In the footsteps of Wick, his former friend, the blind mercenary Kane, will follow. Kane was sent to kill the protagonist. You can view the poster here.
