Even with the success of the second film in the franchise, Puss in Boots 3 has not yet been officially confirmed.
Derived from the movies shrek and one of the main launches of early 2023, Puss in Boots 2: The Last Order was a true success with the public and critics, with more than US$ 400 million raised at the worldwide box office – and a nomination for Oscar 2023 in Best Animation. One of the film’s directors, Joel Crawford revealed if there are any plans for a third movie of the character.

“I don’t know what’s going on [nos bastidores] after that, but it was all this hope that we loved these characters,” said the filmmaker in the conversation. “We believe in this story that we are telling and we hope that the public will engage with it and demand more stories, both from the side of the cat and boots how much of shrek.”
