Kate from ‘Lost’ or the Wasp from Marvel? Evangeline Lilly tells us

The ‘Ant-Man 3’ actress chooses between her two most popular characters.

It has finally been released ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’, one of the most anticipated films of 2023 and the one in charge of kicking off Phase 5 of Marvel. In it, in addition to officially introducing us to new characters such as MODOK, krylar and kang (understood as a new version previously seen in ‘Loki’, one of the best Marvel series on Disney+), they also repeat the regulars of the saga such as scott lang (paul rudd), Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) Janet Vandyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) and Hope Vandyne (Evangeline Lilly) as the superheroine the Wasp. By the way, about these two great actresses, you can’t miss the moving moment of Evangeline Lilly and Michelle Pfeiffer on the set of ‘Ant-Man 3’.

Let’s remember that, thanks to Paul Rudd, ‘Ant Man 3’ It allows us to get to know the Quantum Realm, a place where Michelle Pfeiffer’s character spent three decades locked up and of which we could only see a few brief brushstrokes in the two previous films. Thus, the new installment of the UCM is presented as a proposal unlike its predecessors and totally in line with the imaginative landscapes and light-hearted plots present in other films such as ‘Thor: Ragnarok’‘Doctor Strange 2’, Marvel’s most surreal sequel andsurely, in the imminent ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’.

Despite in this quantum realm so excessive and colorful inhabit from primitive tribes to futuristic robots, as well as warriors who fight for the freedom of their kingdom and gelatinous beings who are fascinated by human holes, there is a stranger who stands out for his courage and valor: The Wasp played by actress Evangeline Lilly.

Many will remember the interpreter for her role as Kate Austen in ‘Lost’, one of the best series in history (yes, despite its questionable ending and the dozen unsolved mysteries).

PHOTOGRAMS has spoken exclusively with Evangeline Lilly to respond to a curious approach according to the multiverse in which recent Marvel movies inhabit. Thus, we asked him to choose between both characters -Kate’s and the Wasp’s- in the Quantum Kingdom or on the mysterious island of ‘Lost’. The actress does not doubt:

I will say Kate in the Quantum Realm because she is a survivor, she is very tough and she will find out where she is

Does this mean that with Miss Austen in the Quantum Realm the movie would have been half as long? In any case, we will never know, but perhaps his presence would have served to fan even more the seductive flame of that conqueror -and we are not talking about Kang- called Krylar who lends his talent to that deity known as Bill Murray.
