This never-before-seen Batman-Superman bond (and it’s not Martha)

Two of the most iconic superheroes in DC Comics history have something in common that only the most knowledgeable fans would already know.

The feature film Batman V Superman already revealed the fact that the Man of Steel and Batman had a mother with the same name Martha, which brought them together and ended their relationship. Confrontation in Zack Snyder’s film. But a more unknown link unites Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent.

In #4 of the comic, actually Batman: Silence (Batman: Hush), indicated that Daily Planet, the newspaper in which Clark Kent and Lois Lane work as reporters, is owned by Bruce Wayne. Indeed, it is a division of Wayne Entertainment.

Thus, Bruce Wayne owns the Daily Planet in the “post-Crisis” comics and turns out to be Clark Kent’s de facto boss! But it won’t last because in another reboot of the universe, Lex Luthor is described as all media in Metropolis, including Daily Planet.

In the New 52 reboot, the diary will be in the possession of Morgan Edge (the character seen in the Supergirl and Superman and Lois series, played by Adrian Pasdar and Adam Reiner) for a long time, before being taken over by Luthor again.

But now you can impress your friends, even the most experienced!
