Ant-Man on TF1: This little detail no one noticed 1 hour and 5 minutes into the Marvel movie

Ant-Man first appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe eight years ago. And his first solo film was already a note for the previous film in the Marvel saga, Avengers 2.

By pausing at exactly 1:05 and 36 seconds into the Ant-Man broadcast, we can see a wide shot of the Avengers base. In the upper part of the frame, near the colonnaded buildings, the lawn area is completely burnt.

This area was previously featured in Avengers: Age of Ultron. At the end of the film, Thor leaves the superhero lair via a special teleportation, the Bifrost, which leaves a mark on Earth’s soil as he uses it. It is this burn mark that is featured in the feature film Ant-Man in a wide shot. Because this is also a connected world.

“This guy has no respect for lawns,” says Tony Stark

The base shown in the movie was actually built in Avengers 2, but it’s in Ant-Man that we get to fly over it for the first time. It will be detailed in the following films, namely Captain America: Civil War (which will see Tony Stark abandon Avengers Tower in favor of this base) and Infinity War.

However, the building is destroyed in Avengers: Endgame after attacks by Thanos’ group. From the Hawkeye series we learn that the ruins of the base have been looted and some of the artifacts are being sold on the black market!

Avengers base destroyed

Since the destruction of their lair, fans have not seen the Avengers reunite, and the team currently has no lair to serve as a meeting place. This might explain why we haven’t seen them together since the events of Endgame and the fight against Thanos.
