‘Back to the Future’: The cast meets again at an event to the surprise of fans

‘Back to the Future’, in addition to being one of the most important film sagas, continues to be an absolute phenomenon and thrills millions of fans around the world. That is why it is normal that there are still celebrations and remembering the revered film, as happened recently at the Fan Expo Portland, where Marty, Doc, Lorraine and Biff have met. Or what is the same, the actors Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Lea Thompson and Tom Wilson, who attended the event held between February 17 and 19.

The stars shared their reunion on Instagram and posted several photos and videos from the event. “Wow honestly had a blast with my family today (‘Back to the Future’)…lots of fun times,” Thompson wrote. In the videos, some of his characters’ famous catchphrases are referenced, such as Wilson saying, “Hello, is anyone home?” as he jokingly smacks Thompson’s head.

Lloyd, for his part, posted a photo of the four actors writing “I found the flux capacitor. It brought us all back to 2023 just in time,” referring to the device his character discovers that “makes time travel possible.” .

Wilson opted for a selfies of the four and the simple caption “Okay, so this happened. 2023.”

Fox posted an Instagram story where he said: “I love being at these FanExpo events and seeing some of my favorite people like Lea, Tom, Chris and all of you.”

Released nearly four decades ago, the ‘Back to the Future’ trilogy directed by Robert Zemeckis followed 17-year-old Marty McFly (Fox) who accidentally traveled back 30 years with his friend Doc Brown’s (Lloyd ): a DeLorean with which you could travel in time. The film was followed four years later by “Back to the Future II,” in which McFly traveled to both 2015 and 1955, and a third installment, released in 1990, in which McFly went to 1885.

Fox and Lloyd have met at numerous events, such as last October, where they reunited at New York Comic Con, where the two recounted their first meeting to a warm reception from the crowd.
