The actress of ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’, Letitia Wright, has confirmed that Marvel fans will have to wait a little longer than expected to see a third premiere of the superhero saga.
Shuri, played by Wright, took on the role of the Black Panther in the second film of the film saga after the death of King T’Challa. Last month, the actress announced to fans that “it was already working“ in a third movie.
He then added: “We need a little rest, we need to regroup, and [el director] Ryan [Coogler] You need to go back to your lab. He’s going to take a little time, but we’re so excited for you guys to see him.“.
Now, the star has clarified what he meant.
“What I was trying to say, maybe not quite clearly enough, is that there is always hope for another movie to be made, especially in a franchise.“he said to BuzzFeed at the Newport Beach Film Festival UK Honors event last week.
“If there has to be another movie, which I hope there is, I think there will be. It takes time to do it. You have to go through the script process“.
‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ became the most-watched Marvel premiere on Disney+when it landed on the platform of streaming earlier this month. Additionally, Angela Bassett made history by being the first actress to receive an Oscar nomination for a role in the MCU.
It’s not the only Marvel movie to have broken a new record recently.
‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’ equaled the (not very desirable) record set by Marvel’s ‘Eternals’, becoming the lowest-rated MCU film on Rotten Tomatoes after earning a critics score of 47%.
